Directions
Add water to make a moist crumble, or mix with finely diced vegetables, chopped greens or soaked seed. Refer to feeding guide on pack.
Live Food: Birds that consume live food may be enticed to eat Finch Soft Food by mixing in small insects with the prepared food (e.g. chopped mealworms, fly pupae or termites).
Finch Soft Food can also be used to boost the protein and nutrient levels in the diet of other breeding birds including parrots, lorikeets & cockatoos.

About Finch Diets
In the wild, finches feed mainly on green seeding grasses. Many species also supplement their diet with live food such as insects and larvae. Their natural diet generally provides superior protein and nutrient levels compared to the dry seed mixes fed in captivity. Commercial finch seed lacks a range of essential nutrients, such as amino acids, vitamins & minerals which are particularly required for breeding or moulting birds.
